Pima Lodge #10 was activated in 1925 and incorporated into the Arizona Jurisdiction in 1928. The lodge was formed for the purpose of furthering Masonic principles and usage in the then young city of Tucson, Arizona. Our original Charter was comprised of the following founders: Q. D. Powdrill, Sr., E. M. Sherman, W. G. Long, C. O. Gilholly, A. B. Thompson, T. J. Brown, L. Spiller, L. Washington, P. Rochon, and G. Braggs.
We are chartered to operate and owe allegiance to the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons, Jurisdiction of Arizona, Incorporated.
Our purpose is to promote a way of life that binds like-minded men in a worldwide brotherhood that transcends all religious, ethnic, cultural, social and educational differences; by teaching the great tenets of brotherly love, relief and truth; and, by the outward expression of these through its fellowship, to find ways in which to serve God, family, country, neighbors and self. We strive to promote Prince Hall Masonry in the State of Arizona in a manner that attracts new members, inspires existing members to be active and further their Masonic education, brings value to the community, and instills pride in the Lodge.
